The Light Of The World

As Easter approaches this Sunday, bringing with it a sense of renewal and possibility, it can be a perfect time to contemplate the gifts of this sacred season and open our hearts to receive them. It is no coincidence that Easter arrives just as spring is dawning with its colorful flowers, warmer days, singing birds, and new growth. This resurrection that is happening in nature reflects the arising of the Christ-Light that is available to all who open their hearts to receive it. Many people mistakenly believe that Christ is the last name of Yeshua (Jesus), the Divine Master who realized and embodied the Truth of his Oneness with God over 2000 years ago.

What Yeshua knew was that this Divine Essence is present in every living thing across the universe, and in fact, is the universe itself. What he came to help us remember is that we are not these limited mortal bodies nor our thinking minds, but we too are the Christ-Awareness that is present everywhere, within and without. This Christ-Awareness is not limited to just one man who lived 2000 years ago, but is present and available right now to all who open their hearts and go beyond the limited beliefs that blind us to the Truth of who and what we are. This Christ Consciousness (which can also be called our Buddha Nature), has been embodied and taught by many Realized Beings throughout the history of Humankind; great beings like Lao Tzu, Krishna, Rama, Anandamayi Ma, and so many others have embodied this Light and brought it into the world through their example.

Like Yeshua, they continue to tell us that we can express this Christ-light through the Power of Love; a Love that has no opposite and is the single greatest power available to us. Only this Love can bring the harmony and peace that we long for to our individual lives, and thereby the entire planet. I invite everyone reading this to take a moment, close your eyes, and breathe this Christ-light into your heart and feel the I AM Presence that you are; whole and perfect in every way. Let yourself be renewed in the flowing waters of this Divine Light; healed of all that is old and outdated, washing away your fear and worry with the radiance of the Christ-light; a light that belongs to all of us who have the courage to awaken and live its freedom in our own lives. The world, as we all know, is longing for this Light; who better than you to live it and share it, at this most crucial time of need?
